Our extensive experience in the heritage and conservation industry is now being utilised for the repair, refurbishment and conservation of historical landscapes and various buildings within the public realm.
We use a mixture of traditional construction methods coupled with modern conservation techniques and our own time served skilled craftsmen, to offer clients the security of a professionally executed job. In recent years, we have been selected as the preferred contractor to work closely alongside local authorities as part of the High Street Heritage Action Zone Schemes, including our £2.5 million restoration of Newcastle's Bigg Market. In February 2020, the Bigg Market project team were named winners on the Landscape category of the Lord Mayors Design Awards 2019.
We are able to offer stone cleaning and restoration as well as repointing of mortar joints, using lime mortars where applicable, the restoration of stained glass, ornate plasterwork, metalwork and bespoke joinery and kitchens. We partner with specialist subcontractors for the mechanical and electrical trades and have installed modern biomass boilers systems and ground source heat pumps. We undertake complete structural surveys and provide condition reports, along with competitive tenders for carrying out the required repairs.
If you have an upcoming project in the public realm, don't hesitate to Historic Property Restoration Ltd for a reliable and professional contractor.
